Guide to Upscaling

How It Works

Upscaling increases your image’s resolution and sharpness while keeping its original look intact. It’s perfect for when you need larger, cleaner versions for print or any professional use in general.

Upscaling a Generated Image

To upscale an image you've generated on getimg.ai, all you need to do is:

1. Click on any image within the Content Generator to open it in full view.
2. Press the upwards arrow icon next to the edit prompt box.
3. A new, 2x upscaled version of your image will be created, leaving your original image untouched.

Upscaling an Image from Your Device

Want to upscale an image that you have on your device, not one you've generated?

1. Click the file with a plus icon (📄➕) in the top right corner of the main prompt box in Content Generator.
2. Go to the Uploaded tab, click the "Upload" button, select an image from your device and press "Submit".
3. Open the Uploaded folder, available from the left sidebar.
4. You'll find your uploaded image there: press on it to open it in the full view, and then click the upscaling icon.
