Guide to using Image Tags

What are Image Tags?

Image tags are organizational tools that help you categorize and manage images across our platform. They provide a flexible way to group related images and quickly find them later, regardless of where or when they were generated.

Generating tagged images in AI Generator

When tags are active in AI Generator, all images you create will be automatically assigned to them. 

How to activate tags?

1. Go to AI Generator and click the “+ Tag” button above your generated images. 

2. Choose a tag from the list or press “New tag”. If you decide to create a new tag, input its name and confirm your choice. You can repeat this process to attach new images to multiple tags. 

3. Generate images as normal - they'll automatically receive the active tags.

Active tags appear next to the "+ Tag" button.

Simply click a tag to deactivate it.

When tags are active, the AI Generator will only display images with those tags. 

Adding or removing tags in the image view

When you click an image in the AI Generator or Gallery, you'll enter a detailed view displaying key information, including the creation date and prompt. To add or remove a tag in this view:

1. Click the “+ Tag” button located under the generation parameters section.

2. Add tags by selecting from your existing collection or creating new ones. Repeat this process to attach multiple labels to your image.

3. Active tags appear next to the “+ Tag” button, and removing them is straightforward—simply click on any that you want to remove from the image.

Managing and filtering tags in the Gallery

Bulk adding and removing tags

For larger projects, tagging images individually can be time-consuming. The Gallery offers efficient bulk tagging options that work across all our generation tools:

1. Open the Gallery and click the “Select” button.

2. Pick all the images for which you want to add or remove tags.

3. Press “Manage tags” and choose either “Remove” or “Add”.

4. Click “+ Tag” and select a tag from the dropdown list. Repeat this to remove or add multiple tags in bulk.

5. Confirm your choice with the “Tag/Untag images” button.

That’s it!

Filtering tags

Filtering images by tags lets you quickly find what you are looking for across images generated using any of our tools. All you need to do is:

1. Access the Gallery and click the “Add Filters” button.

2. Choose “Tag” from the filter list.

3. Pick the tag you want to filter from the dropdown list and confirm your choice.

You can use multiple tags, which will show results with any of the tags (an "OR" filter). If you combine a tag with something else, like creation date, it will show results that match both (an "AND" filter).

Renaming and deleting Image Tags

The "Image Tags" page is your central hub for tag administration. You can access it through your avatar menu by selecting "Image Tags." 

Here you can:

• view all your existing tags;

• rename tags by clicking the pen icon, entering a new name, and selecting "Update";

• delete tags using the trash icon.
