How to Use Your Consistent Character or Custom Style?
Once the Model Trainer finishes preparing your Character or Style, using it to generate images is extremely simple. Here’s how:
Step 1. Open the AI Generator
Navigate to the AI Generator from the homepage, tool picker, or by clicking here.
You can also click the icon next to your model status in the Model Trainer to be moved straight to the AI Generator with the model already selected.
The Character or Style's status needs to be “Active” for it to be available for image generation.
Step 2. Select FLUX.1 [dev] and Character or Style
When in AI Generator, ensure FLUX.1 [dev] is selected as your base model. Then:
if you trained a Style, click the "No Style" button within the prompt box and select your aesthetic;
if you trained a Character, choose it from the list in the “Consistent Characters” section.
You can mix and match one Character and one Style if you want to combine them in the same generation.
Step 3. Adjust the Character/Style Slider
Use the slider to control how much the output focuses on the selected Character or Style.
100 is the default value and usually the best choice for balanced results;
Higher values can be useful for reinforcing the Style or Character when the prompt contradicts it in some way;
Lower values are great when you want the prompt to take priority over the Character or Style, allowing for more flexibility.
Step 4. Craft Your Prompt
Write a prompt describing the scene or concept you want to create.
For Characters, focus on the situation, setting, or vibe. There is no need to describe the character’s basic appearance (e.g., gender, hair color)—it will be automatically included thanks to your custom model.
To save time and effort, instead of “black-and-white portrait of a bearded, brown-haired man in a suit, cinematic lighting,” you can just write “black-and-white portrait, in a suit, cinematic lighting.”
For Styles: let your trained Style shine by prioritizing what’s happening in the image. The model applies your custom aesthetic without needing explicit mention.
With a custom pop-art Style enabled, “landscape of a mountain village at sunrise” will suffice; you don't have to write “landscape of a mountain village at sunrise, in the pop art style, with bright colors and bold black outlines.”

For best results, ensure your prompt, Style, and Character align conceptually. For instance, a “photorealistic” prompt paired with an “anime” Style might result in conflicting outputs. Instead, combine things that complement each other, like a detailed portrait prompt and an analog photo Style.
Step 5. Generate images
Once you're done with the prompt and other parameters, simply generate images as you normally would.
That’s the last step! Now, it's time for you to take your own custom AI model for a spin and see what it can do.
