What is Live Mode?

Video Generator’s Live mode transforms static drawings and sketches into 5-second animated clips. It offers two ways to create: Text to Video, where you describe the scene and let the AI generate it, and Image to Video, where you provide a drawing along with a text prompt to guide the animation.

It’s a great tool for animators testing ideas, illustrators adding motion to their work, and content creators looking to make quick animations. The AI preserves the style of hand-drawn art while creating smooth, natural movement, making it easy to experiment with animated concepts.

How to Generate Videos with AI in Live Mode?

Step 1. Choose the Live Mode

Navigate to the Video Generator and select the Live mode from the available options. This will optimize the AI for working with sketches and drawings.

Step 2. Write a Prompt

Your prompt tells the AI how to animate the scene. A well-structured prompt might include:

• Subject: what is being animated (e.g., a character, an object, a background element)

• Action: what movement should happen (e.g., waving, blinking, floating)

• Mood/tone: should it feel energetic, calm, eerie, or playful?

• Background/setting: describe the surroundings or context.

Step 3. (Optional) Upload an Image

If you have a sketch or drawing you'd like to animate:

• upload it from your device

• choose it from your getimg.ai Gallery.

It will serve as the first frame of your clip.

Step 4. (Optional) Create a Soundtrack

You can enhance your clip by checking the "Generate soundtrack" box to add automatically generated sound effects that match the mood of your animation.

Step 5. Generate a Video

Click "Generate video" and wait while the AI processes your request. Once complete, you can preview the animation and download it in MP4 format.
