What Are Actions?

The Actions in the left sidebar are organized into three groups: Image, Video, and Audio. Click a group to unwind it, then open any task on its own dedicated page.

There are eight Actions across the three groups:

• Image: Create image, Resize image, Remove background, Upscale image
• Video: Create video, Upscale video
• Audio: Create music, Create speech.

🎨 Create image

Open Create image in the sidebar, under the Image group.

1. Type your prompt in the prompt box at the bottom. Short, natural descriptions work great thanks to smart prompt enhancement.
2. Optionally add references: click the Reference button to upload a file or pick one from your gallery, drag and drop, or hover an image and pick Use as reference. You can also reuse people, products, and styles by typing @ElementName.
3. Adjust aspect ratio and number of images per batch (1, 2, 4, 8, or 16).
4. Pick a model via the Auto / model name button in the bottom-left, or stay on Auto. The model menu also has a prompt enhancement toggle (always on for Auto). On select models, a quality switch appears next to the aspect ratio.
5. Click the arrow to generate.

📐 Resize image

Open Resize image in the sidebar, under the Image group.

1. Click the box at the bottom to add images, or drag and drop files into it. You can also pick images straight from your gallery.
2. Click the aspect ratio to choose the shape you want.
3. Choose Smart Resize or Outpainting (the difference is covered below). On Smart Resize, a quality switch appears next to the aspect ratio.
4. Click the arrow to start. The resized versions appear in the gallery above, and your originals stay in place.

Resize image gives you two ways to reshape an image:

• Smart Resize regenerates the image at your new aspect ratio. The composition stays close to the original, but it's a fresh render.
• Outpainting keeps your original image and extends it outward, filling in the missing parts to match the new shape.

✂️ Remove background

Open Remove background in the sidebar, under the Image group.

1. Click the box at the bottom to add images, or drag and drop files into it. You can also pick images straight from your gallery.
2. Click the arrow to start. Clean, transparent versions appear in the gallery above, and your originals stay in place.

⬆️ Upscale image

Open Upscale image in the sidebar, under the Image group.

1. Click the box at the bottom to add images, or drag and drop files into it. You can also pick images straight from your gallery.
2. Pick an upscaling model and a target resolution (for example, 2K or 4K).
3. Click the arrow to start. The upscaled versions appear in the gallery above, and your originals stay in place.

getimg.ai includes two kinds of upscalers in the model picker:

• Classic upscalers (SeedVR 2, Topaz Standard 2) stay faithful to the original image and sharpen it at higher resolution.
• Creative upscalers (Topaz Bloom Realism, Topaz Wonder 3, Crystal Upscaler) can add details and textures as they upscale. With very low-quality inputs, they may invent details that weren't in the source.

🎬 Create video

Open Create video in the sidebar, under the Video group.

1. Type your prompt. If you want audio, describe the dialogue, music, or sound effects directly in your prompt.
2. Optionally add a First Frame, Last Frame, or Reference images to guide the clip.
3. Adjust aspect ratio, length, and number of variations (1, 2, or 4).
4. Pick a model via the Auto / model name button in the bottom-left, or stay on Auto. The model menu also has a prompt enhancement toggle (always on for Auto). On select models, a quality switch appears next to the aspect ratio.
5. Click the arrow to generate. You can queue another clip while the first one is rendering.

⬆️ Upscale video

Open Upscale video in the sidebar, under the Video group.

1. Click the box at the bottom to add a video, or drag and drop a file into it. You can also pick a video straight from your gallery.
2. Pick an upscaling model and a target resolution (1080p or 4K).
3. Click the arrow to start. The upscaled videos appear in the gallery above, and your originals stay in place.

The model picker includes three Topaz upscalers: Topaz Astra 2, Topaz Proteus, and Topaz Starlight.

🎵 Create music

Open Create music in the sidebar, under the Audio group.

1. Describe the song you want in the prompt box. Be brief or specific: mention genre, mood, and vocals, or paste exact lyrics. You can write in any language.
2. Turn prompt enhancement on or off, then set the length (30 seconds, 1, 2, or 3 minutes) and the number of variations (1, 2, or 4).
3. Click the arrow to generate. Finished tracks appear in the gallery above and download as .mpeg.

🎙️ Create speech

Open Create speech in the sidebar, under the Audio group.

1. Type your script in the prompt box, exactly as it should be read. Add bracketed cues like [gentle, emotional] to set tone and pace, and change them anywhere in the script.
2. Pick a voice from the list. Each has a name and a descriptor for its character, such as soft, smooth, upbeat, or warm.
3. Click the arrow to generate. The audio appears in the gallery above and downloads as .wav.
